Inner West Imaging offers a comprehensive range of state-of-the-art image techniques and modalities using the most up-to-date equipment available on the market.Imaging modalities include: We use an electronic image archive (PACS) to store all studies indefinitely, which allows for immediately retrieval for comparison with previous images and to replace lost films. Direct access to the image archive is available to all referrers (for the patients they refer only) using our high-speed internet backbone. Already some referrers have decided that film is no longer needed since instant access is always available. Images accessed over the internet (using our secure link) can be magnified, measured, inverted and compared, all from the referrers office. This service is provided free of charge to referrers by Inner West PACS. |
